Born2Bond™ Ultra K85 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is a fast curing, single-part adhesive that boasts exceptional resistance to humidity and high temperatures. It is the first “instant” adhesive to withstand up to 1,000 hours at 85°C and 85% relative humidity. It can bond a wide range of substrates, including plastics, rubbers and metals. Ultra K85 has superior flexibility and elongation (30%), which gives it good peel resistance. With its low odour and low blooming characteristics, it is well suited to applications where appearance is important. It provides a clean finish, with no white residue, and without sacrificing speed or bond strength.

Ultra K85 is manufactured from 60% bio-based raw materials, from sustainable reliable sources. It has passed ISO 10993-5 and is suitable for consideration in the assembly of medical devices.

Ultra K85 cyanoacrylate adhesive (CA) has been rigorously tested to withstand 85°C/85% RH for up to 1,000 hours, making it a strong candidate for applications that require long term durability, even outside or in harsh environments.

Born2Bond Ultra K85 is available in a medium viscosity, balancing ease of dispensing with versatility across a wide range of uses. It can be used alongside Born2Bond Booster for faster curing or Born2Bond Primer to assist bonding on difficult substrates.
